Beautiful places

I don't know what made me think about this but I guess I've got the traveling itch again. So with that said, the three places I would absolutely love to visit are:

Iceland
Tahiti
Australia/New Zealand

I doubt I'll ever get to go, but I'll never stop dreaming.

I grew up a military brat so I have traveled extensively but most of the travel was done from birth to late teens. I would like to see the world as an adult.

What three places would you like to visit?

Hi MaryRose -
My name's Kelsey, i came across your blog very randomly - i clicked the 'next blog' on the top of my friend's blog and yours came up! Sorry if this feels like a massive intrusion of privacy or something..
I'm 15, and i happen to live in Australia (Sydney) so your entry about wanting to visit here or New Zealand was really interesting to me.
So you've got a random teenage girl from halfway around the world commenting on your blog because she's fascinated that you want to visit the very place she's lived her whole life.
In response to the what three places anybody else would like to visit, i'm going to answer that question just 'cos i feel i owe you that much after making myself all welcome here.
I'd love to visit Italy, because of it's strong culture - the very defined foods and i love the sound of Italian language. The way they pronounce things. The way they're represented in media at the moment is so cultural and strong hearted - i don't know how true that is but it's so inspiring.
I'd love to visit California, even though i don't know all that much about it. There's so many songs called California it amazes me; i figure it must be an influential place. I don't think it's like it is on TV.. Nothing's like it is on TV. But still.
And the third place i'd love to visit would have to be anywhere that nobody owns. In the middle of Antarctica, i don't care where or how i get there. But to stand somewhere and know that you are free, and no single country owns that territory would be such a great feeling.
You don't have to reply if you don't want to. I just thought i'd post this anyway, the idle Wednesday night it is.

Oh Zoe,

I forgot about Greece! My older sister went to Corfu a while back and she loved it. Well, except that there was a lot of walking. Greek mythology is so fascinating, although I haven't read any myths in a long time. Wasn't there one about pomegranate seeds?

Hi Hip Momma,

I'll admit I'm a romance nut sometimes. I read a lot of romance novels and I love men with accents, especially a British accent. I can imagine England in the springtime with my “hunk of burning love” in a fairy tale castle setting. So juvenile but one can dream.

Your new skin is WOW! Sometimes I feel like I’ll never catch up with all you tech savvy bloggers. It’s baby steps for me.
