Broken blog and turkey gobbles

I'm sorry if anyone is having problems trying to comment, I'm not sure what is wrong and I have no clue how to fix it.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?

My husband and I have decided to skip the whole dinner thing and give the money to charity. The thought of giving a hot meal to someone who has nothing, is my idea of a great Thanksgiving Day. I’ve been in that position (needy) and it breaks my heart to know others are suffering.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.

I think that's a grand idea, Maryrose :)

I'll be cooking a big dinner that day but it will be just for Scott and I. My girls will have dinner at their paternal grandmother's house and then again at their spouse/boyfriend parents home...by the time they get here they won't have room for even a morsel of food. Except my SIL - he can eat like nobody's business lol

What I'm looking forward to mostly is having a good long weekend as I'll be off both Thursday AND Friday!

*hugsssss*

That is a wonderful thing to do.

I think we will stay home and maybe if they are not having other plans invite some family over. I will prolly be cooking some things, but NOT the turkey haha. I would be too afraid to ruin it.

God's Grace.

well about 50 of us are going to the coast for thursday-saturday. We've rented a house and are taking along games and all the turkey fixins. The house is used as a retreat and so has golf and a few other outdoor games like ping pong and such. In the early morning hours my brothers go oyster digging and bring them in for breakfast. It's busy but fun. I'll be thinking of you. Enjoy your holdiay.
